Introduction
Almost six months ago, I published my article on Nike (NKE): “Nike’s Steep Decline Continues: Where Will It Bottom?” Since then, the stock has fallen 25% and is already 80% below its all-time high in November 2021.
In that same post, I mentioned a “potential time band between September 28, 2026, and October 1st, 2026.” For an expected low, I set my price and time targets on a Saturn 1x1 or 1x2 timing line.
The recent low came just as Nike reported its first-quarter 2027 results, 1791 calendar days after its all-time high of $179.10. It aligned with a 1x1 timing line from the crest (though I didn’t show this on my April 8 chart) and sat just above the 1x1 Saturn timing line drawn from the March 2009 low I mentioned in that post. While the timing matched my assumption that a low was due, the price target I set in the same post has not been reached yet.
In my analysis, Time may be more important than Price, following W.D. Gann’s method of analysis, so that a bottom may have been set, but I prefer to confirm it with other time cycles or timing lines as well. This post updates and amends my NKE analysis posted in April 2026, as well as my recent #322 post, this week’s tweets, and my Substack note.
