Introduction
In this week’s Stocks in the Cycle Spotlight edition, I am posting updates on this week’s quick notes on Amazon (AMZN), Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), General Mills (GIS), Alphabet (GOOG), JD.com (JD), Nike (NKE), and Oracle (ORCL).
Some of these stocks may be reaching important highs, while others seem to be approaching an important low or high in price and time, or a relevant time-cycle confluence. Following a “keep-it-simple” approach, I will post one chart per equity with a short updated commentary.

Funny that the $197 level actually held and Amazon went on to a new high in August, so the cycle call missing on the downside is not a bad problem. Does the foldback idea still work if the earnings strength carries into year end?
