Planetary Harmonic Model - April/May 2023
Update on the DJIA, $SPX, and $Nasdaq Composite
Introduction
This post is an update on the Planetary Harmonic Model 2023, published in the Fiorente Stock Market Outlook 2023 for April and May 2023. I will update this page regularly as the stock market progresses.
There is an interesting model I presented in the Fiorente2 Stock Market Outlook 2023 regarding the inverse relationship between gravitational forces and the Stock Market direction.
I believe Jim Sloman when living on the beach in California, 40 years ago, was the first to notice the relationship between the tides (caused by gravitational forces) and the Stock Market. Welles Wilder bought his findings and turned this in his Delta Phenomenon theory. Later on Robert Taylor, wrote a book Paradigm about his own findings on gravitational forces and the (inverse) relationship with the stock market.
The theory of Robert Taylor is that an increase in gravitational forces may have an inverse effect on the stock market and vice versa.
In other words, in general the Stock Market heads lower when there is an increase in gravitational forces (more pressure) and when there is an decrease in gravitational forces (less pressure) the stock market may end higher.
Two weeks ago a subscriber send me a thank you note and saying: “interestingly, the Battery Station (USA) High/Low Tides Chart is very useful...thanks for including it!”.
I updated that chart with the DJIA up to end of March 2023, and you can see in the below chart there is some kind of inverse relation. The amplitude in the high and low tides does not have any relation with the price level of the stock market, but at times when gravitational forces were low or high you could see the inverse relationship and changes of trend to occur.
I used the Battery Station, as that is the Station that measure the tides closest to Wall Street. It is not always a perfect relationship, but there are some interesting correlations to be seen on above chart. I would not plan to trade on it, but may provide some additional information at dates where there is an extreme(highs/lows) in the tides (gravitational forces).
Our premium subscribers can further read the updated Planetary Harmonic Model 2023 for the DJIA, SPX and COMPX with the latest data in the below post. I also updated the sections around the planetary (hard) aspects and intersections at which dates you may expect a change in trend to occur.
