Looking back at 2021 in hindsight

Review on 2021
In hindsight perhaps a composite of the Gann Master Cycle based on the 30 and 60 years cycles could have explained better the end year rally into the end of the year. Where as the 60 year cycle went sideways, the 30 year cycle made a year end rally.
The Master Cycle in its own may be the directional cycle but in the end they are all cycles within cycles.
In reading the Bible W.D. Gann appreciated the ancient knowledge that was hidden in the bible on cycles. In his Tunnel Thru The Air on page 78 he wrote:
““In every law of nature there is a major and a minor; a positive, a negative, and a neutral. Therefore, in cycles there must be a lesser, a greater and intermediate cycle, or cycles within cycles. Like Ezekiel says: "Wheel within a wheel."”
Conclusion
So, in understanding the future you will have to look not only at the longer term trend but also take into consideration the smaller trends, their harmonics like the halves, thirds or quarters of cycles. As you can see the 60 year and its half cycle were almost completely in harmony this year. I will all review this in my upcoming Stock Market Outlook 2022.
