Gann Master Cycle updates - April 21 2023
An update on the $DJIA, $SPX and $COMPX following Gann Master Cycles
Introduction
Last week, I discussed the upcoming Solar and Lunar eclipse of April 20th and May 5th 2023, and as we are trading 180 calendar days from October 13th, 2022 low and close to 49 calendar days from March 13, 2023 low, the time period between April 20th - May 5th 2023 (Solar/Lunar eclipse) remains an interesting period.
In particular as of April 21st, 2023 Mercury1 went retrograde. During this period this may cause confusion ( as Mercury deals with Communication) and often caused sideways movements in the markets. So, be careful during this time.
With Mercury’s shadow period ending May 31st, 2023 we might see some volatile periods this year in May. Looking at the 60 year cycle we also know that the period of May, 60 years ago was largely a sideways movement. The end of April - May time period is important to see whether the 60-year and 49-year cycles will continue or invert.
I have updated a long-term view for our premium subscribers in below update to illustrate where the US stock market is on the longer-term cycles. There is an interesting midpoint that may hint at a prolonged uptrend for some time.
