All quiet on the Western Front
#266 An update on the main trends in the US Indices.
Introduction
When you get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, like here in Scotland, the world seems all quiet, as if nothing is going on. So, the markets have been in the last few weeks. It seems all quiet on the Western front, an expression originating from military communiques during World War I when there was nothing to report.
Nothing is as it seems. Much like the weather here in Scotland, one day can be bright and beautiful, and the next day may suddenly change into a rainy day or severe storm.
A lot is happening in the world right now, but the direction is unclear. The markets seem to pause, as if awaiting decisions from the US, whether it involves the US imposing tariffs on its trading partners and/or the US starting a war with Iran.
What we know from Louise McWhirther's work is that the coming month, starting with the new Moon on June 25th, we can expect some volatility ahead. Which way will it go?
