US Indices Climbing Up A Wall Of Worry?
#214 Updated last week's harmonic analysis on the US Indices
Introduction
While most analysts shared their more bearish scenarios based on patterns and other analysis techniques in the past few months, I kept optimistic, as my NYSE Transit To Natal aspect model seemed to forecast a more bullish scenario than anyone could imagine. Even after the Fed cut the rate, the bulls in the US Stock Market marched on. When will this trend end? Are we climbing up a wall of worry?
The below NYSE Transit to Natal Forecast (blue) overlays the S&P 500 Index. It has followed the index quite accurately, within a few days or a week. Note: The forecast is based on time and does not predict price.
The above forecast I've created using the NYSE Transit to Natal Aspects has a distinct advantage. It provides a clear graphical representation of the path, following the most significant planetary aspects in the future without any bias. Therefore, similar aspects will have always similar effects on the forecast.
Using planetary cycles to forecast the future often works, as also
demonstrated this week in a recent substack post. However, planetary angle returns or returning cycles from important events, like the opening of the NYSE in 1903, will resonate in the future but may not always have a similar effect. This is similar to any cyclical model used, like mine, as cycles can invert occasionally. Moreover, accumulation and distribution take time, so one has to be careful not to trade forecasts based only on astronomical cycles. As inversions can occur, it is important to use various analysis techniques to confirm a forecast. W.D. Gann, whose analysis techniques I often use, utilized astronomical cycles and time cycles, patterns, geometry, volume, and numbers. He also mentioned the ‘law of vibration’ as a key component of his analysis techniques. He clearly emphasized the significance of using these techniques in his work.
“This Law is also backed with astrological proof, but anything that can be proved in any way or by any science is not correct unless it can be proved by numbers and by geometry.” W.D. Gann - Stock Market Course
In this post, I will provide an update on the harmonic analysis I conducted on the US indices in recent weeks. I have added scenarios in line with the NYSE Transit to Natal Forecast. The harmonic analysis is based on price movements at significant highs and lows. It aims to help identify potential balance points for price and time in the future, which could become potential turning points.
