Gann Master Cycle update - Sept 29 2023
A Gann Master Cycle forecast following the DJIA, SPX, Nasdaq Composite & Nasdaq 100 #149
Introduction
Investors are experiencing uncertainty in the markets, which is causing lingering doubt about the state of the financial markets. One potential indicator of whether this doubt is subsiding is to examine the JNK ETF.
What is the High Yield Bond ETF telling about the investment climate?
The performance of the High Yield Bond ETF JNK can be used as an indicator of the investment climate. If JNK is performing well, it suggests that investors are willing to take on more risk and are optimistic about the economy. On the other hand, if JNK is performing poorly, it suggests that investors are less willing to take on risk and are pessimistic about the economy.
Based on the mirror image foldback patterns in the JNK ETF, there appears to be an ongoing sense of uncertainty. Although there was a price and time balance recently, the angle returns on the chart suggest that the pattern may not be complete yet. This indicates that we might still be amidst a downturn.
Please note that the past fractal will not replicate similarly in the future as there may be differences in, e.g. the speed of planets. So, at some point in time, foldbacks will cease to function.
Further in this update on the US Indices, I will show you where we are on the Gann Master Cycles and where a possible cycle low in the US Indices may be expected. Timing lines and patterns may help to find where to find where price and time are in balance for a cycle low to occur.
