Introduction
AAPL will release its Q1 results on May 4th, 2023, with a delay of more than a month. As read in “Barron’s on April 6th, 2023, is there a reason for a longer-than-usual-delay?”
We may speculate about it or look at the cycles to see if shorter and longer-term cycles are due in time.
Last time back in January, I wrote about the squaring out in price and time on the low of January 2023, $49 from the high of August 2022 in just about 138.2 solar degrees from that August high.
Today, on May 2nd, 2023, AAPL is close to 138.2 degrees Mars from August 2022 High due mid-of-May 2023. AAPL is also close to 360 degrees in price from low January 2023 on May 5th, 2023, right on the Lunar eclipse. A lunar cycle is due a few days later, on May 9th, 2023.
There is perfect geometry if AAPL will change the trend again after an advance of $49. (like the $49 decline from the August 2022 High) from the lows of January 2023, reaching $173.17 by early to mid-of-May 2023.
As W.D. Gann mentioned in his stock market and commodity courses:
“The number “7” is a fatal number referred to many times in the Bible, which brings about contraction, depression, and panics.”
The number “49” is the square of “7,” and this is often a point of resistance (or support) in time and price.
From the looks of the above chart, the low of January 2023 is most likely an inversion due to a longer-term cycle still pointing upwards. This may be the 1-year lunar cycle or an even larger cycle. However, AAPL may be running out of time and close to a square out in price and time. This is also close to a Gann seasonal date.
A Fibonacci 138.2 degrees of Mars from August high 2022 is a possible target, and 135 solar degrees from low January 2023. Apple is also trading close to the Gann timing line from Low May 19th, 2022, with a price target of $174.70 by May 19th, 2023. However, a larger Gann Master Cycle is unfolding, which may drag AAPL higher than this analysis.
The premium subscribers can read further in the below update, in which I discuss the larger Gann Master Cycle, possible fold-back scenarios, solar and lunar eclipses, and seasonality to fine-tune when a possible high in price and time can be expected.
